Neverdying Army

By MetalDevil123

Made with FPSC x9 v1.17 beta

Story:
Neo Nazis have got their hands onto old devices originally built by Hitler's crew of scientists. Hilter's intention was to create a Neverdying Army. Hitler didn't succeed, but now his followers today, have finished the machines, and succeeded on ceating a neverdying army. They themselves, are immune to these creatures, and they don't try to attack them. I have been save inside this cellar in this mansion. Now, I think it's time for me to finally leave. I am starting to run out of supplies, and I think I can make it to the evacuation centre. I only need to watch out for the undead army, and teh Neo Nazis on my way. I think I can do it.
Description:
So this is reskinned Neverdying Army wich somone maby has seen on hte showcase. Now that 1.17 beta is out, I can finally build more detailed and bigger maps. I have built a 3 level demo for you, and I think teh levels are big, for the FPSC standards. The other Neverdying Army's download doesen't seem to work, so if a mod could be kind enough and delete the thread. Now, I thought putting this here, should give it more attention, than the Showcase, so I hope some of you are interested in this. Have fun!

I hope I didn't miss any points on the rules, but notify me if I did. Enjoy

The demo link doesn't work for me, it's just a blank page.
Probably just my internet connection is bugging or something.

Try refreshing the page, that should do it

Well, I don't know what that's about. I tried it myself, and it says 1ZC.zip... dud you click the "Download This File" button? But I don't really like this hosting site so much eather, but for me it works, and the file is too big for Media Fire. I really don't know what's happening, but it all seems fine in this end...

If someone has some good file hosting suggestions (wich let you upload big files, or have no limit on size) then let me know

Hey there's something wrong. When i start downloading, i get a file with .jpg file extension of 300 mb?!?

By the way you can upload to megaupload. You need an account, which is free, and there is no upload limit!

ok so i got it working. the game looks good.a few things to work on is to make it a little bit more challenging. and i like the idea of giving the player a gun instead of ammo. the main menue and the loading screens and atmosphere were great

Thanks! Yeah, I thought it might not be so challenging, but it was kinda challenging to me, as I am not a pro player (only in Left 4 Dead 2, but I fail alot there too). For anyone who didn't get it working, the link new link should be up in about half an hour or so.

EDIT*OK! The MegaUpload link is up now! Now if you excuse me, I will go walk the dog

Decided to bump this. The MegaUpload link is up, so you who had problems before can now download it.

Another chance to get my personal oppinion into numberes...
Wasn't easy to judge. Anyway, here we go:

In all categories*: 6/10

Good Textures
Believable Level Design
Good enemy variation
Fun Gameplay

Big Crash in Level 2
Collision Bugs
Overall too dark

*First Impression, Gameplay, Graphics, Sound.

Whenever I finish level 1, and then shoot one of the first enemies appearing in level 2 (with the guns), I get this:

I solved it saving at the end of level 1 and then loading again and moving into level 2 this way. But, that's not a good solution for a player.

Also, I found it a good idea one has to climb over obstacles here and there, but collision bugs (I did not crouch the first times on top) caused me fall through the floor and die... and I had to start over again

If you solve these problems, the game will be outstanding in my oppinion!

As a WIP demo, it already makes a good impression.

Keep it up, really good work

Thanks! I will look into stuff. I tried the demo again, and I see it does crash at the enemy. Sometimes. I will try to work it out somehow.

Double post is always great if it contains SCREENS.. heh
Looks great. I like the pretty simple level desing which brings reality so far into the level.

Keep it up!
