I am making a pack of WW2 weapons. So far I have three.

No sounds come with the guns (i dont know how to make them), the sounds are ONLY for the vids!
To put sounds on just copy them from a different guns folder to the ww2 guns folder that you wish to have sound for.

This is a WW2 gun the japanese used called a Type 100. It comes with Vweap, Weapon and ammo pickups, and it is FULLY animated. The Price is only $3.00.

This is a WW2 gun the Americans and British used called a M1 Garand. It comes with Vweap, Weapon and ammo pickups, and it is FULLY animated. The Price is only $3.00.

This is a WW2 grenade the Germans used called a Stielhandgranate. It comes with Vweap, Weapon and ammo pickups, and it is FULLY animated. The Price is only $2.00.

This is a WW2 gun the Russians used called a PPSH41. It comes with Vweap, Weapon and ammo pickups, and it is FULLY animated. The Price is only $3.00.

This is a WW2 gun the Russians used called a Mosin Nagant. It comes with Vweap, Weapon and ammo pickups, and it is FULLY animated. Has a scoped and unscoped version, along with gunspecs to make each version worked.
In the video the ironsights and sound setup weren't perfect. They have been fixed now . The Price is only $4.00.

Purchase Links:Purchase

Video Links: Video

They work Perfectly in X10, thanks to Harry Carling (Sika Sina Games) for testing.

Note: the animations are smoother than in the videos - the recording software makes the animation look more choppy in the video.

The 2,000,000th TGC post was made in MY ww2 weapons thread!

(I should now be a TGC legend, right?)

Actually the German WW2 grenade wasn't called "Steilerhandgranate" but "Stielhandgranate" which literally translates to "Stick-handgrenade"

In case you find my grammar and spelling weird ---> native German speaker ^^

If you are real weaponry savvy (like me), a more proper name would be the Stielhandgranate Model 24 Grenade. Also, the M1 Garand was never standard issued to the British armed forces. The stripper clips you made for the M1 Garand are definitely incorrect. The M1 Garand utilized an en-bloc clip which stayed in the internal magazine and ejected after the last shot.

i saw the m1 video, and i agree with delta, the m1 does not use stripper clip. The texture could be a bit dirty, like scatches etc. it looks to clean

You're welcome GJ! It is a common misconception that all WW2 & WW1 era rifles were fed through stripper clips. Some rifles such as the SVT-40 and Gewehr 43 were fed using detachable box magazines. Some rifles such as the M1 Garand and M91 Carcano used en-bloc clips. The difference between and en-bloc clip and a stripper clip is that a stripper clip is attached to the top of the receiver of a firearm and the cartridges are "stripped" off the clip into the magazine. The en-bloc clip (Definition: As a unit; all together) is inserted directly into the magazine and stays there "all together" inside the magazine until the last round is fired or chambered. If you have any more doubts or queries about firearms, you can always contact me through my e-mail.

I must say I'm only a fan of the Type-100. I don't mean to be offensive/rude/what have you, but they models look fairly basic and the textures could use lots of improvements.

The PPSH41 and its hands look pretty darn cubic and not rounded.

The stick grenade looks good, but the texture degrades from the look. Instead of just texturing the rivets below the head, try modeling them in, too.

The M1 Garand, in my opinion (for the lack of a better phrase), is the worst-looking one. The texture looks quite 5-minute Paint.net job IMO. I would maybe go out with a camera and take a picture of a wooden fence, try applying that to your UV map (I'd do this for all of the weapons, personally, the wood needs work on all).

If you made those improvements, I'd probably pick a few up

Untrue. 1st, it uses MP6 hands which arent blocky, 2nd, here is a wireframe of the PPSH41. Not cubic and very nicely rounded. Go ahead and look up a PPSH on the internet, almost an EXACT look alike to the real thing.

Wireframe:

So the stick grenade: there are no rivets, its just how I did the texture. Theres not even supposed to be any.

And the Garand? I'm sorry but that uses Photo texture wood, VERY high quality wood. FPSC reduces the textures terribly.

Heres a picture of the Garand, it is no 5 minute paint.net job, it's a 4 1\2 hour PS job.

I'm sorry to contradict you my friend but there is nothing low quality about these. these are all 10 1\2 hour guns (except the grenade, only couple of hours on that).

I hope your post doesnt put people off from buying these, as they are not low quality at all :/

I know what a PPSH looks like
But, look at the model in the in-game screenshot you put up. It's only rounded in a few places. IMO it doesn't serve the hands nor the model justice.

These are some differences.
Quote: "I'm sorry but that uses Photo texture wood, VERY high quality wood. FPSC reduces the textures terribly.

Then compensate for FPSC, make it higher quality in PS, sharpen, apply filters, etc.

Quote: "rivets...Theres not even supposed to be any.
"

So why did you add them?

Quote: "

I can't see how my single opinion could put off anyone wanting to buy these. I even said myself I'd buy them if you made some improvements.

I'm not being rude, I'm giving you constructive criticism. Don't get so defensive, it's helping you. If you don't take the crit, okay. Just fly into the wild blue yonder with what you've got, then. I'm not stopping you, no one else is either.

The PPSH's wood isnt too light. It just depends on the wood they used.
Take this for example.

Now the barrel, is rounded, but not as much as the real thing to save on Poly count.
And on the grip area it is also unnecesary to round that because you cant see it

The M1 Garand, I think I see what your saying and I will see what I can do.

Thanks for taking the time to show me what you mean

Looks good, I have to agree that the M1 Garand is a little dull in FPSC, I like the Type 100 and stick grenade, my only crit on the PPSh-41 is that the top is a little flat, but the texture is nice, much nicer than mine.

Everything looks great to me! But the sounds on the PPSH sounds like a rapid typing machine. But I never heard a real PPSH, so I don't know :-P But they are very good! If I was in need of WWII guns, these would be absolute buy!

To put sounds on just copy them from a different guns folder to the ww2 guns folder that you wish to have sound for.
The PPSH is using Errant's silenced pistol sound
