It looks good for a start, but for the moment its mainly just a sphere, not a batysphere
Look up some reference images on google and look for stuff that can add detail and realism to your model. Like maybe a window? A frame around the door?

Be creative

Use this as your base, add some lights, maybe a doorknob etc.

And of course a texture

Use it to learn the art of modeling

You can't just back it up on the old PC and copy to the new PC? Or connect them both to your router/hub/switch and just copy across ??

??

I'm totally lost for words on that statement to be honest. They are files, you copy them like any other file to CD/DVD/external HDD, USB Stick etc, or over your network.
I can't see how they can get corrupted, unless your old PC is virus riddled, corrupted HDD, or bad memory stick(s) etc??

If it is down to the above, then that is a good lesson for why backups were invented :p

Syko don't you have like an USB drive or something?
Or an external hard-drive?
If you still don't have it,because more that half of the world already has,I suggest you go the old-school way and burn the data on a DVD.

Hi!

Basically a nice design approach, and I like the general look. However, try to make the light / shadow correlation, the lightmaps more sophiscated.

does a great Job in the setup.ini / buildsetup.ini

I'm exicited about the new Bioshock game you are creating.

You definatly need to get some of the character models such as Atlas, Big Daddy, Little Sister.

Unfortunatly, I'm not a graphic designer though.

I remember a time when new members (myself included) were too scared to post on this forum in case they got jumped on by a pack of wild dogs. It's certainly gotten a lot friendlier since then.

I await more updates.

Looks cool. Only thing I could really comment on is that if your going to place rubble, dirty up the floor texture a little aswell. Just so it fits in?

Anyway, good job.

C++ is labourless... if your name starts with 'L' and ends with 'ee'.

Allright my opnion.
It looks kinda cool, but nothing like bioshock. Oh well it's a fangame, but if you are searching for bioshock feeling to it, i reccomend to plan little bit of different colourworld (if you know what i mean).
Bioshock's world looks cold, and every corner is full of various scrap and such.
You could start by making some fog maybe? Different room textures, the stock ones are kind of boring, and dont have much life on them.
The green light also is pretty annoying, but that may be just me.

Otherwise this feel's like a good game.

Go to the fpsc build game propeties and put:
Fog active: 1
Fog red: 20
Fog blue: 20
Fog green: 24
for example for getting possible a grey fog, or any of those colours you like.
Bigger number, thicker fog. Foc active 1 means that fog is actually active, and not zero.

file/ build game/ level setting/global script/ fog : add number.

i think that i suggest you

1: change you segment, use metro theater or dark city interior segment

2: if you know how ( its pretty simple search for tutorial)add shader to your entities and segment. bioshock have a lot of ''glossy''

3 : well if you can play bioshock and go more slowly try to notice of every detail.
