Anyhow I'm using the input command, and immediately, major problem.

The typing doesn't always go through, letters drop out, apparently I'm typing too fast (and I don't type that fast) for the input to register.

How to fix? I just got the trial version, and was about to go all the way but this needs a solution.

Oookay..

Here is the code. All of it:

input stringything$

That's all. The whole program.
On a Pentium 2.4Ghz with 512MB of ram, running the latest trial version of DB. And this simple program is dropping keystrokes like crazy from normal typing.

Well, I just downloaded DB Pro Trial to see if that fixed the problem.

Well. In DB Pro I don't have a problem with keystrokes disappearing.

However switch it into 1024x768,32bit mode and little white lines appear under the characters.

set display mode 1024,768,32
input stringythingy$

Sooooo.. What a choice. This is not good.

Well frist of all do you really need it in 1024x768 and in 32bit mode even .... you do know your eyes are only caibly of seeing 23 bits right? so would 16bits be a better choice? i still use 512x384 (snes resoltion)its fine for me ..lol

what you might want to try is chnaging the font or font size it may help
