Hi all! to the point: I am able to control 1 sprite w/ 1 joystick.
I need source code that will load 2 sprites and control them
seperately on one computer. I am able to detect 2 wingman joysticks
and want them to control 2 seperate sprites at the same time
ie: fighting each other. This is 2 joysticks on one computer
multi-player attempt.Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope-
because my 750 page book doesn't seem to cover this subject so well,
maybe it's not possible w/ darkbasic clasic, but i hope it is,
so please let me know if you know.Thank you. If you want to send the source code to my e-mail it's : cgrassia617@aol.com Thanks again.

that's weird. If dbp doesn't support multiple devices then it should because the OS supports it. I remember writing games on the old atari 400, in BASIC, and it supported four simultaneous joysticks, identified with STICK(0) to STICK(3)

Wow! Somebody else who started off with Atari basic!!! I had an Atari 65XE and thought I was the only one.

Sorry, I know that was off topic.

I think that you can, you would need to use the
SET CONTROL DEVICE command to switch between each input device.

I haven't tried this though and am still unsure.

20 PRINT "Hello World! From ATARI 400"

@Sedate: I don't know about that command, by it's name alone it sounds as though it sets the controller, but how would that help for 2 controllers simul.? Where's Rich D when you need him? LOL.
