Dark GDK / 3d objects not showing up in windows 7

i just got a new computer with windows 7 64 bit and whenever i try to compile anything including the tutorials and samples, none of the 3d objects show up i just get a blue screen

you probably downloaded the GDK 7.4 from the sticky on this board, you must scroll down the page (its somewhere near the bottom, post by mike) and find the patch for this version as it fixes the rendering problems

i downloaded the patch and there is still no 3d. and i tried going back to 7.3 but that didn't work either

first download this

replace all gdk's libs/headers with these, once you're done, download this
https://forumfiles.thegamecreators.com/download/1826654
and replace the headers/libs with these (this download only contain some few libs (fixes) i think, so just replace your old libs with the new ones in the patch)

this should work fine, i think you downloaded the wrong patch or something

those are the two i downloaded last time. but i tried again and still no 3d

edit: some of the samples and tutorials work but others don't and none of my projects work either

i think i fixed it for the most part the only things not working now are the tutorials my projects work fine now thanks for all the help
