i was wondering if the TGC product ExGen worked with FPSC's new particle system? it seems that the particle system is rather basic right now, but im just curious.

I thought ExGen just made animated sprite strips ?? never thought it was any kind of particle system

And then you turn the sprite strip in to a decal and then the decal into a particle, right?


I'd love to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my bum.

Yups just trim the strip in equal part to stack one below the other in a square texture for your decal. Or if the animation is short I guess you can leave it as a strip, bearing in mind the 4096 limit on texture resolution etc

i thought ExGen made particles? oh well, making sprites so that we can make the particle is just as good.

You can't really make particles except from in the editor for FPSC...
