hi,

I cannot get my code to compile, it keeps telling me that there is a link error:

1>------ Build started: Project: PhyTester, Configuration: Debug Win32 ------
1>Compiling...
1>Main.cpp
1>Linking...
1>LINK : Debug\PhyTester.exe not found or not built by the last incremental link; performing full link
1>Main.obj : error LNK2019: unresolved external symbol "void __cdecl dbPhyStart(void)" (?dbPhyStart@@YAXXZ) referenced in function "void __cdecl DarkGDK(void)" (?DarkGDK@@YAXXZ)
1>Debug\PhyTester.exe : fatal error LNK1120: 1 unresolved externals
1>Build log was saved at "file://c:\Documents and Settings\programmerman2000\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Projects\PhyTester\PhyTester\Debug\BuildLog.htm"
1>PhyTester - 2 error(s), 0 warning(s)
========== Build: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==========

the only thing in my code besides the built in code using the wizards is:

dbPhyStart();

what have i not done or need to do.

sorry i forgot to mention that I included the darkPhysics header in my code and have installed the ageia drivers on my computer. Is there any tutorial that explains how to install DarkPhysicsGDK in a step by step format?

you also need to add the fliudrender (think that might be what its called) to the physx one.

Dark Physics makes any hot drink go cold.

It looks like it cant find the library file, are you sure VC++ is setup to look in the correct place?

I have not got Dark Physics so I can't be very specific. Go to where it installed on your computer and look for a lib folder.
Sorry I can't be more help.

that must not be it because i included the sdk v. 2.8.3 lib folder and still nothing. is there any place that can walk me through this. it is getting very frustrating and i feel as though i may have wasted my money buying darkPhysics.

Does Dark Physics not have a setup document?

2.8.3 is the current version of PhysX, I dont think Dark Physics uses this version, although I could be wrong.
Even so, I don't think your Dark Physics lib will be in there, PhysX is a dependancy of Dark Physics, Dark Physics may have its own lib folder.

You may want to email TGC.
