Dark GDK / dark gdk vista problem

when i run gdk on my computer(vista) the compiler is broken and i cant run anything and i cant download vb 2008 express or repair anymore, it's all 2010. but when i run it on my laptop(XP) it works perfectly. help?

I don't know whats wrong with your computer because you haven't exactly given us a lot of information I would suggest cleaning the computer of all GDK/Visual Studio related items and then reinstalling.

what? msvc++ 2008 express is a free download from microsoft, why download it from such site?
