This the first time I have tried this so I was wondering if I was approaching this correctly.

Objective: Make up various Huds to give player information as they go through the mission.

Step 1. Make a HUD for each message (Probably using GIMP 2)
Step 2. Save each HUD with a .dds ending
Step 3. Write a script (with .fpe ending) that calls the HUD when the player is able to access the info, i.e., at a terminal, etc.
Step 4. Store the HUDS with .dds in HUD directory
Step 5. Store scripts in scriptbank
Step 6. Attach scripts to dynamic entity such as terminal, note, etc. to display infor

Is this correct?

Whew! Have any of the the true FPSC geniuses out there automated this process?

So basically, you need a script that sets up the HUD and activates it under the right path. So basically, this is what you need.

All what you said is right except for the script file extention , it should be .fpi not .fpe , Thats all.
Cheers
