It's called rigging and you do that with Fragmotion, where you basically replace the, let's say EIA's weapon with your own and import it into FPSC.

Unhelpful Titles

Please do not simply write "Noob Question", "I am a newb", "One Noobie Question", "A question", "Please help", "This isn't working" or anything similar as the title of your post. We have a search facility, and meaningless titles do not help others find answers to their questions. It will also help you to get quicker responses if people have an idea of your thread content.

rigging can be done in any animation software with keyframes such as 3D max, fragmotion, (even Blender I think). The software you use is up to you. Your best bet is to search here for a tutorial but I'm not sure I've seen one for max. If i where in your shoes, I would open a gun spec that is close to what I wanted (pistol, rifle, etc), and write down the animation frames i.e. reload plays animation 34-56 (just an example). Then open max, make your arms, make your guns and animate it using those frames. Export using pandasoft exporter and then you either buy bullshock's weapon system creator (or similar) or play around with the gun spec offsets to get it to look right on the screen.

Attached example. When you press the button to select the weapon, it plays animation frames 1-20.
