I tried to import a .x file in Blender, but the option doesn't seem to exist anymore. Am I missing something or is there another program that will convert .blend files into .x, while keeping animations and textures?

There is a .x exporter somewhere here on the forums, but for importing, I recommend reinstalling it.

I think that the update to blender removed the option, so it's not a matter of reinstalling it. What's the .x exporter called and does it support .blend files?

Maybe blender is learning from Max ?? i.e. make sure your program has little to no useful import/export capabilities, so you can drive the normal people mad ^_^

Next it will change the X/Y/Z axis so Z is vertical :p

Z is verticle

Anyway, Blender has always had issues with .x format. Try looking here:

I've heard of Fragmotion, but I've never used it. Could you provide a link?
