It's ok,but just for what environment would you need a red camo?

Looms good for a first camo, but a lot if things could be improved... The one thing I really noticed is that the red lines go over the spot where there is supposed to be a "hole" in the gun. Keep working on it, and remember, guns don't just have random textures, always try to think why the texture might be there, what happened to it and how it reached it's state

Yea I know I was just expiermenting....it was just a test, I will be doing camos for the environments that i would happen to be in, artic, desert, woodland. But thanks for the advice..i will be sure to use it

Looks good, but needs to look a little more realistic, you could use gimp or photoshop if you have either and just mess around with the effects till you get something you like.

I think maybe he going for MW2 look, I like the pattern, but personally would either try to reduce oppacity? of it. or either choose different color, but the pattern of camo is nice.

Yeah that's what I'm doing with my textures

Ragone: A cool thing to do would be to make it a full camo skin so it would contrast better.

Well the thing is, when i tried importing the dds file into photoshop it couldn't read it so i had to use paint.net

there is an nvidia plug in for photoshop so it reads .dds,
