Newcomers DBPro Corner / text messing up my bitmap

hi everyone,

just got hold of darkbasic. Have no programming experience and am trying to start real simple. Basically the first problem i have encountered that the tutorials dont seem to fix is this:
when i set a bitmap and then print some text to screen (see said this was basic stuff). anyway if i ask a question when i type the response the text wipes the bitmap below it, making it very messy. the print stuff is fine but the input look bad. hope this makes sense and hope somebody can help this complete 'rookie'

can you define exactly what is going on? or give a screenshot. Becuase your description is kinda vague.
