FPSC Classic Models and Media / Bond1 Shader question

I'm finally getting into the whole shader thing and actually using the skin modifier instead of physique. I am however running into a couple problems. 1. When I use any of the freaks shaders I get the dreaded model stretches out into a messed up blob problem, 2. Exporting with pandasoft has yielded deformed meshes that don't seem to stay binded to the skeleton, as a result I've been using the KW .x exporter.
So, if you could possibly shed any light on your export process that would be awesome.

Make sure you take these steps when rigging the character:

1. Reset X-forms
2. Apply skin modifier and add bones (everything except the root bip01)
3. Set "bone affect limit" to 4 in advanced parameters
4. After rigging, hit the button labeled "remove zero weights" to clean up any verts that have bones assigned with zero weighting
5. Export with Panda - never had any luck with KW exporter.

That did the trick! But now, for some reason when I'm trying to us the darkshader template the character goes black after I apply the spec map, I've tested your Dante model with my textures and everything works fine, so I guess it's something in the export settings, could you post your export settings as an image?

I've attached a pic showing my settings. Sometimes I notice the Dark Shader crashes when loading .X files for rigged characters - and wants them in .dbo instead. So you might need to convert it to dbo by loading it into FPSC first if you notice any weirdness.
