Oh god no. Something that you'll learn as your webdesign improves is that "flashy" or corny graphics like that really demote a website. Backgrounds really should only be one color, as a rule. Even though you want to express yourself artistically in the site, eventually you'll learn that it's not about the design.

Remove ANYTHING related to an animated background.

Add some nice, organized tables, and get a layout that's at least slightly consistant for every page.

Text should always be Veranda, it's the easiest to read, and small, size 12 or 14.

I'm just saying this out of experience, you can experiment with the corny javascript of the day fades and flashes, but when you come down to professionalism and browser satisfaction, you have to cut down on the gimmicks.

I did see one sight that use animated snow for a background, it was pretty decent. Actually there's a site I know that breaks all those rules, but you can't deny his talent.
