I was trying to get away from doing this but controling the NPCs movement is very sloppy without it. (not just collision but also terrain height)

Im trying to get my head around how to go about it. Loading objects into the server and testing for collision with darkGDK, just dbhideobject() everything? or is there a way to keep a console screen and have darkgdk in the background since my server will not have graphics hardware at all?

Included a screenshot of my game sofar =) The client connects to 6 seperate servers with each handle a different aspect of the game. I would need collision detection in my position server and NPC server.
