Hello!
I have a question about collisions.
Whenever my player is inside the object(map), and he is not touching edges, collision acts like he is.

I usually make it something like this:

Is there a better way of making objects collide or a way to avoid that problem.
THANKS in advance!

Try using SET OBJECT COLLISION TO POLYGONS on your map object.

I'd recommend using Sparky's Collision DLL (an awesome collision plugin) for 3D map collision though.

this old code snippet by g man and lost in thought is still an effective, simple and well-explained method of accomplishing basic sliding collision and provides a solid foundation to build upon.

Hey, thanks Sixty Squares!

All I needed was such a command.
My collisions are now working just fine.

That is some good stuff in there Virtual Nomad, I'm sure it will
be helpful later in my progress.
