Well, your texture has to have a metallic part of it, then you just have to select those top faces and use a top planar map (I don't know how that program works, sorry).


If something is perfect, it probably doesn't work. -PWP

I think that's TrueSpace 3D or something, but I'm not too sure.

Nope, i use milkshape, but the screen is of entity workshop, i didn't texture the model in milkshape

I'm really bad texturing

Alright, In Milkshape:
1. Select the part you want metal
2. Regroup them
3. Rename the group as "metal"
4. Export .obj
5. In UVMapper select your "metal" group and give it a planar map
6. Proceed as normal

Hope this works

i tried making 2 uv maps, but nothing happened

when you texturing it you will know which one you put the black color to it so replace it by the way you like.
