That comes up with an error, anyone know why? Im using a tutorial on youtube just to learn what was in DarkBasic Pro (sync, sync on, sync rate, do, loop, etc) so yeah im just tring to learn the basic system commands and the way code is put together in GDK compared to DBpro

I know that nothing should happen (well it should print then immediantly close I know that) but I was just testing to see if any errors would come up
I downloaded everything it said, opened Game in wizards, running it as admin, and nothing.

There were build errors. Would you like to continue and run the last successful build?

That one.

EDIT: also how do I use dark physics, lights, ai, etc? do I have to #include or just type in say dbPhyStart?

You should have more specific erros than that. I think that's a popup after you try to build it and you get errors. Somewhere in the build output (I think) are the errors.

At the bottom of the screen there should be a tab called Error List and if not goto View -> Other Windows -> Error List. That window should tell you more about whats wrong and would make it easier for everyone to help you.

Depending on the version of GDK you have you may have to ignore the atls.lib. From your video when you start a completly new project and it still doesnt work that was my first idea. So let us all know what the Error List window says and we will most likely be able to get you situated.

I've never heard of that error befor so I did a quick search of the fourms to see what would come up.

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=119097&b=22

That person seems to have had the same problem as you. The fix is rather detailed. I'm somewhat curious as to what causes this to begin with. Hope that helps and maybe someone else knows why this happens.

Also in regards to getting the plugins to work with GDK, do a search of the GDK fourm for the plugins you want and i'm sure you'll find what your looking for. Best of luck.
