Back at uni now with a 1mbps connection. Come on my son. Bring it on!! Might not be much to boast about for some of you, but for me, switching from 15 mins to download an mp3 to 32 seconds is a big difference.

Now, let the hordes of welcome back messages begin ....

...

...

.. oh go on. Just 1 then.

...

..

.

Anybody?

Yeah, when I go into uni at night and use the internet (so there's hardly anyone else on campus) I get rediculously fast downloads. Remember downloading an 8mb MP3 in 7 seconds once, so I know where you're coming from.

Hey guys hello Fallout I live in Cyprus. Here it is 100 pounds(in british pounds that's probably 120) a month just for 1Mbps.I got 640Kbps,but guess what...it seems I'm the only person the island of Cyprus to have this problem but..adsl goes fine..except for games where you can not even search/join/create a game due to lag.Bandwidth and ping are excellent,so not even the top dog at the ISP(or even the national helpline) has a clue. It's just one of those things that happens to one person in a billion, and it just happens to be you.I mean I know dozens of ppl who have got same specs exactly and they have no lag.Sorry for ranting buit i just had to vent out some of the frustration..hope you are not an unlucky man like me...

hehe. hey guys. I wish broadband was included in my rent. We get all bills (gas, electric) included though, which is handy as we have most of our PCs running 24/7 now. Mwahaha. Wait till the land lord gets his first power bill.
