I'm seeing a definite improvement, but still seeing too many threads. Keep improving and try to confine the models to a single thread so others don't get pushed off the main page so quickly.

Just tried to download, but I seem to have a slow connection today as it stuttered and failed.. is the file size really 11mb? I imagine a high resolution texture file would be around 3-4mb, not sure what else could be in there that costs 5mb... how come it's so big?

A little critique based on what I can see from the attached screenshot, a foresee a tiling issue where you will have two vertical fence posts next to each other with no intervening crosspieces. Adapting the design to remove a vertical from one end and carrying on the crosspieces to the next segment will allow them to tile with little or no visible seams.

New PC Specifications : Intel Core i3 2.93Ghz. Windows Vista Ultimate. 4GB DDR3 RAM. ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT.

TGC Store Tag : Kasseyus (need to make a graphical sig one day)

He maybe having the same problem a few are here in regards to .dds and saving uncompressed .dds with tons of mipmaps or something. I have seen a few bad .dds exports from photoshop and gimp etc that are around 12mb in size for a 1024x1024 texture lol

'Squished' may be the better suited word But great nonetheless, the texture looks quite nice. Maybe decrease the brightness a small bit and up the contrast a tad to bring out more detail Thanks for the d'l!
