Hey guys, i haven't really been posting on the forums or used FPSC in a while, since i've been busy with other things. But I DO try to get on once in a while and see how everyone's doing. I'm devistated to hear about heltor, and though i never actually got to personally meet him, i saw him around. He was certainly a great individual. I'd like to give away something in memory of him. It's a techno (as always) track that i made a while ago. I was originally going to sell it once i eventually got my store account, since it actually took a while to polish off, but i've decided to give it away. For heltor.

It's intended to give the player a feeling of urgency, like their time's running out. (Hence the clock ticking...) I think it could be usueful for somewhere in a game where the player has to reach a certain destination within a certain amount of time, or has to get something done, etc... It's loopable, and in ogg format. I named it "Final Revolution".
PS: It's pretty loud, since most of the item and enemy sounds in FPSC are. But feel free to tone it down a bit in an audio editing program like Audacity if you need to.

Cheers, Jake

Sounds awesome! Literaly
I can use this

Oh but 1 thing "I" think you should change is the chorus, it doesn't sound right when the guitar goes high and it would draw away the focus of the player. But the rest sounds awesome. Wish I could make music like that

I see your point Poloflece, i guess it can get a little distracting. So i lowered the pitch of the higher guitar. In case it it isn't as low as you'd prefer, i've also included an even lower version. I hope this works better for you.

Wow, that blew my mind wide open. Sounded like something a friend of mine did in the late sixties after he dropped some . . .

BTW, King Of Khoas, thanks for the track.

An alien friend of mine did this one...
He said if you listen close you might hear his message.

Don't worry King Of Khaos, I won't litter your thread with any more of my edits.
I was just having so much fun playing around with this tune of yours.

Haha, no problem CE, you're not littering. I actually mess around with songs all the time. (Like raising the pitch so it sounds like a little kid...)

It's good, but no where near techno .

Techno = 135 BPM to 150 BPM

This seems more like electro, ambient, or minimal.

Don't think that that's a bad thing, it's a great track

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it's almost 1MB in size

@DJ Almix - Thanks for the compliment. But what you stated isn't exactly a rule, like you make it sound. Although 135 - 150 BPM is the average tempo for techno, there is no required BPM range. Primarily, it's the type of music that makes techno what it is. So if a song has the instruments and synths of being techno, but isn't between 135 - 150 BPM, that doesn't automatically make it an entire different genre. It just means the song isn't exactly common/average techno.

Cheers, Jake
