Hi, I just got DarkBASIC Pro yesterday, and I'm off to a good start with it since I have previous experience with other programming languages. However, when I have compiled a program, and moved the exe, and media folder onto my laptop, it just doesnt work, I keep getting 3 error popups about missing DLL's.

d3dx9_35.dll
DBProSetupDebug.dll
DBProSetup.dll

This has me completely baffled, will my apps only run if the computer has DarkBASIC installed?

Any help on this matter is appreciated greatly.

Darkbasic Pro requires DirectX 9.0c to run. If you already have DirectX 10 on your laptop you can have DirectX 9 too.

You can get it here:

I didn't think of that, install it now and get back to you with results.
