That was new to me - I always thought, that only the movement speed can be edited in the .fpe

...very interesting.

The voodoo doll weapon is a nice touch.

CC:

1. Scorpio's animations do seem erratic and jerky. Adding additional frames to smooth
the animation cycles is suggested.

2. Voodoo doll's animations seem incomplete. Improving the pronation of the right arm
and the thrusting/piercing of the the doll with the pin will greatly enchance the visual.

3. Fun Fact
: Voodoo dolls operate on the priciple of sympathetic magick to effectively
focus intent and focus on a specific targeted individual.

Typically, the effigy resembles the target, and has clothing, bits of hair, nail clippings,
to act as a psychic link to the intended target.

This looks like a fun game to take for a spin. I very much look forward to its release.

Nice work.

I really like the TV monster pic! It's like the Ring and Sillent Hill had a baby in Hell.

After the scorpian attacks is it supposed to look like it's floating/arched up? It's kind of weird how it just stops looks around then starts attacking again.

Go ahead. Walk into Mordor.

That TV Monster reminds me a bit of the 1983 David Cronenberg movie called Videodrome, starring James Woods and Deborah Harry.

Anyway, nice work on all of them!

...the Monster Tree looks interesting.

C&C:

The hand portions stand out, and are easily identified from a distance. Actually,
the bare limbs, that terminate abruptly, make the attacking limbs even more obvious.

I suggest taking the time to model limbs & branches that taper uniformly into long
finger-like twigs, throughout, and animating those that will function as hand-like
appendages. Doing so will improve the look and effectiveness of this character
immensely.

I'm assuming that the element of surprise would be critical in the effective use of this
character. Camouflaging and blending the Monster Tree in with other static
trees would best showcase the Monster Tree's skills.

Quality before quantity; if I was you I'd concentrate on making just a few characters as top-notch and brilliantly created as possible, instead of producing as many as you can with animations that (no offense), look half-completed.

Your ideas are fantastic, and the project is very exciting, I believe it would benefit you however to put even more effort into each of the characters you've already made.

Look to the future, and keep your concepts and plans and ambitions alive; don't let that lose your focus on actually putting the most effort into each one though.

Cheers.

Life would be much easier if I had the source code.

...yep.

If the creator of the game doesn't care about it, why should anyone else?

Just something to think about...

Was just giving some advice, that's all. I believe people post their work in progress here for the fact that others will care and have constructive criticism.
