A tech demo wouldn't fit the criteria...

You must create the best, most playable game

12. The entire game must be possible to be played via a standard PC keyboard and mouse set-up. Joystick support is encouraged, but keyboard and mouse support must always be present.

oh...and the word "game" appears 47 times in the rules and instructions!

Something more along the lines of an interactive tech demo might still be acceptable, at least that's the impression I got after reading the rules. Something along the lines of the Black Mesa intro to half-life. Rich is the only one who really knows however

You can enter them and I love to see some but you could not win. It needs to be a game.

you can make a game with the tech-demo in. some thing easy like solitaire or Pakman and then if you win it plays the demo.

why make a tech demo??? with the tech you already have, you can make a game and win something.

well, it was a 20-line no-media demo, not really new stuff but a 20-line demo expanded
