When can we expect a DarkGDK update to this version?

If the latest DBPro code has been uploaded to the google code page, then you can download DarkGDK and compile it from code for the latest version...

IanM did say he was working on bug fixes and testing, so a release shouldn't be far away...

The changes I've made so far have been checked in. Lee and Mike were gathering together the files required to build an installer last night, so I'd guess it's going to be fairly soon.

There are more fixes for me to carry out still though, and also a whole load of performance enhancements that I also want to apply, so even if a release is built, that's not the end of the road.

it is very usefull, because GDK is poor engine... You can use GDK only for fun. Not for a commercial/profesional development.

I wouldn't say that. I think creating good quality and fun games is possible with almost any engine, DarkGDK just makes it easier and does a lot of work for you.

I hope the release of DarkGDK 7.5 is rather a matter of days, not of weeks...

I have no problem with that.

I haven't upgraded just yet, and as N3wton noted elsewhere, there are slight problems with doing so (biggest is that DirectPlay is no longer provided). Never say never though.

Yes. Don't link both DarkSDK and DarkSDK2 in the same project - choose one or the other.

The DarkSDK is linked by default, so if you want to use DarkSDK2 instead, then you need to set your project settings to exclude DarkSDK.

DarkSDK2 allows you to set up your own initial window.

As for your existing problem, I have no idea as I don't know how you've configured your project.

Try compiling an existing example project to see if that works. If it does, then it's something that you've done incorrectly.

Well, I fixed the darksdk.lib by compiling the DarkSDK Solution, but Animations failed
