Hello, I was just wondering what steps I would have to take in order to make a normal and specular map for the Dungeon Pack Characters so I can apply ps 2.0 shaders to them. Thanks!

The Gimp.
DL the Normal map filter for the Normal Map, and for the spec map desaturate and then add any details.

Create your _D and _D2 texture for the character.

From those your can generate yout normal map _n and your specular maps _s, in GIMP or some other graphic program.

Place them in the folder with the character and set up the FPE file for it. ( Use a stock character one for a templete).

Apply a character based shader (this is important or it might not work) and then tweak the shader.

The FPSC community guide has a section by Lee on how to change the shaders for characters.

Bond1 has great tutorials on texture creations. You could also search for character in the forum and a bunch of stuff will come up to aid you.

Hope this helps.
