idk i used it though... Lets say your walking down a hall she appears for like 2 secs while some crazy sound plays... just to scare the living crap out of the players

What use would this be in a game, since it is a picture from fear it is useless in distributed projects. People would call it a FEAR ripoff

No they won't, cheap tricks like that are ten-a-penny and don't work...

You don't want a huge BWAH! style scare, you want a long, drawn-out, suspense-building sequence. A sequence that makes the player not want to go through to the next room for fear that something will attack them...

You build and build and build it, then cease it to create a false sense of security, then you BWAH.

Regardless of weather it's 3D or 2D, it's still stealing. It's the same as if you saw a poster in game and took a screen shot and cropped it out.

which is the same as:

If you saw art in a gallery and took a photo of it and cropped it out and distributed it for free to everyone.

The reason we come down hard on piracy is that this forum isn't some amateur forum somebody's running from the bedroom, it belongs to an actual games company that can and would be sued so we're not doing it to spite people, rather to protect the forum and TGC from being shut down.
