Hi,whenever i export a model from milkshape to entity-workshop v2 the texture doesn't go with it and im left with a blank model.
Is there a way to make my model fpsc ready with the texture without having to put it through entity-workshop first?
Im new to model making/texture and any help will be grateful, thanks

You dont really need to use Entity workshop. It can make the visual process easier.

You can make your model, UV map and texture it in your model program.

Export the x file to a folder in your entitybank folder. (entitybank/user/Some folder name).

You can put your textures in the same folder also.

Copy over any .FPE file,(entity for entity, Character for character, weapon for weapon) Open it up in an text editor and change the info in it to match your entity. (Name of entity, texture location, Scripts, etc.)

Save the file as the name you want for your entity. Also you need to create the Preview bitmap for The Map editor,(render a 64 x 64 24 bit bitmap and name it the same as the FPE file you are makeing) so you can see the new entity you created.

At this point you should be able to test your entity in the map editor and check the results.

Entity workshop normally exports the entity and the texture to the entity-workshop folder in your entitybank folder. There is a way to change the working directory in entity workshop to point to your FPSC folder if you are not in a standard install folder. (like a different drive number.)

That should do it. Hope this helps.

Nothing but coffee in my veins
