Hey guys,
I suck at collision,
I have collision for everything except one object,
I'm using collision box's btw.
If anyone can lend 5 minutes to add collision for this object, I will reward you with as many emoticons possible in one post.
You will have to email me, as I don't want to post the code just yet

Hey look at that!

Alright,
I'm trying to use sparky's, with no luck.
I would really appreciate someone fixing whatever I've done wrong, so I can set up even more stuff!
This is a project due in the next few days, so a speedy response gets a hug.

P.S - the sparkys code is from one of the examples, if you recognise it

This code is different then the code you emailed me. Which version are you currently using?

A quick glance shows that you have not setup the objects to be used by Sparky's. All of the objects in the MakeObjects and CreateLevel subroutines will have to setup for Sparkys.
i.e. SC_setupObject objNum , GroupNum , Collision Type

I would setup the player to group 0, the coins to group1 and the world to group 2. You will also need to update your movable objects in the code. I will see if I can get it figured out and post back again.

EDIT: This code works:

The player sphere can jump and there is collision, but I don't see where you put in for player movement yet.

I'm not really a programmer.....I only play one on TGC.

Hey everyone again!
A huge thanks to LBFN for helping with collision, setting up sparky's etc.
But now im having a problem of every-time the player hits a switch to disable a door, the program closes and says the door object can't be found, even though I created a separate object for each door to avoid that problem?
Code below, sparky's required, No media required though

If someone could take a look and help me sort it out, a reward of three invisible ducks will be delivered to your door within 5 minutes of posting!

Ok dont worry about the doors, sorted it out.

But now, is it possible to apply sparkys to the enemy objects so they kill the player like the lava blocks?
Cause i have no idea how to do that.
Again, the reward still stands.

Cheers
