Dark GDK / Which version to DirectX SDK to download?

The librarys have been updated so do I still have to download the august 2007 DirectX sdk or can I get a newer version?

I don't know.....I have the August '07 edition and so far it gets no errors. I'm waiting for my download to finish but I'll tell you if the '07 version works with the latest GDK.

Ok, finished downloading and it compiles perfectly.

Making games is easy.....finishing them is a different matter.
