So who else has had issues with unauthorized charges at itunes? I read in the news over a month ago they were having problems. Looks like they still are. Once I get my money back, I'll never be using itunes again.

Well I got a giftcard. I normally don't buy from itunes unless I can't get it elsewhere. I usually shop Amazon MP3 as they're DRM free. I had luckily an expired card on the account, so nothing was taking out of my bank.

I really enjoyed emusic.com after taking their trial. I plan on going back once I get some more funds.

Nope, however Spotify doesn't have all artists and you have to pay if you want to download the songs.

I agree that GrooveShark is the best place to get your music. It has every single song you want to hear, and you can make playlists. VIP members can listen to the songs on the go with their mobile phones. Great site

Grooveshark is good, but I seriously question the legality. So I ended up buying all my tracks on Amazon MP3.

Yah, I still buy CD's...if I'm lucky a 78(yes, albums are still sold in this format).

...seriously, my sig was deleted because of 8 pixels? Oh well, no hard feelings to the mod who did it.

I hate all this downloading. If I download some software or something, I burn it to a CD/DVD - need to be able to hold something for my money...

I still buy CD's (mark you, I haven't touched a 78 since I turned all my Grandad's 78's into fruit bowls way back when...)

I have a hell of a job keeping my youngest off the illegal download sites...

Who needs progress, huh?

This makes me

Records give superior sound, imo. Wish I had room in my house to start up a collection. My old records were all warped and scratched due to my mishandling.

So perhaps the sound wasn't so good after all ...

I can't remember the last time I saw a 78, 50 years ago perhaps?

Not after I listened to em a billion times

Blu-ray's probably the way forward for us LP fans.

Also, apple refunded me, but not before locking my account and making me submit information to them to reactivate it :S

It's actually a primitive form of .mp3, only playing at 78 kbps.

Lol, If you ever venture into a real record store, not Walltrash or FYE, they always have 78s for sale. You can buy new players cheap as well. As long as you keep them clean(special cleaner) and you keep the needle in good health, they're really worth it.

Some newer music I own are Linkin Park, Matallica and AC/DC. You can also get the Fallout 3 soundtrack on 78.

Glad everything was squared away with itunes.

Yay Linkin Park. Their new album sucks though. Old stuff was better.

Grooveshark shares ad revenue to the artists from the songs you play. This compensation is what keeps them legal.

I bought a VIP subscription to help them out, plus their VIP-only grooveshark desktop app is amazing.

Yeah, I was once thinking for a while about buying Bioshock 2 Special Edition. With soundtrack from the first game on vinyl (and of course from the second one, too but only on CD)...
