Hello

I am looking for a editor insted of the darkbasic editor as I would like to run the code while i am working though the Tutorials - The Basics
i have tryed darkedit156 but i can not reduce the size of the window so i can read the Tutorial unleass this can be done in dark basic editor. are there any other editors i could try so i can run the editor in it own window. also the link to darledit web page do`s not work and i sm to hve a proble wih it run on xp home

DarkEDIT does run in a window, thats the whole pint of it, its a window based editor to replace the inbuilt one for DarkBASIC...

[EDIT] It works on XP, i have it running fine... to find the link, search for it in google...

how can i make the dark basic editor smaller so i can read the other Tutorial imformation

There's 3 small icons at the very top right of every window, it's the middle one you need

...or you can Alt-Tab

I assume you are using the HTML based help files with darkedit?

I have mange to get Darkedit working not sure if it a replaemet for dark basic editor as for the Tutorials this is link I have been working from http://developer.thegamecreators.com/?f=t01/3d_tutorial_index

so is this what you mean?. also I stil have not worked out how to display a graphics instead of a letter as i whould like to make a simple space invader game but because i am new to program and do not have a clue I thoght these Tutorials would be my best bet instead of the book well see you in 2 years :o) if i can work it out but it good fun

dude there is a button on computers with like a flag on it somethin of the sort. and click on that and ure out of it and then click on the link below u have got it
