Hey guys!

I tried my hand on more complex shapes with a chair and I think it turned out pretty cool. Thought I could share this with you guys.

Extract the attached .zip file in your entitybank and the chair should be ready to use.

For commercial and non-commercial use.

Looks weird...did you not use my texture I provided? You can also put the normal/spec shader into the effects line in the file as I included them.

...seriously, my sig was deleted because of 8 pixels? Oh well, no hard feelings to the mod who did it.

Thanks guys.

@Zwarte Piet
I'm glad you've found my models useful. I'm working on a table now to go along with this chair nicely. I have also a refrigerator I'm working on. Maybe I could make some more models and compile them in a "Kitchen Pack" or something

@Josh Mooney
Thank you for texturing the model Josh, I really appreciated that . The specular map worked fine in FPSC but I had problems with the normal map. I don't know if there's a shader effect around that makes it possible to use normal maps with static entities in FPSC? I also found your texture a bit blurry (was it 256x256?) so I took some time to create a decent UV map and made a sharper texture (1024x1024).

This chair gave me an idea to make more dining room / kitchen related models. I could compile them in some sort of "Kitchen Pack" when I'm done.

Here's a refrigerator I've been working on. Any thoughts?

I like the idea of a kitchen pack.

C&C:

...the clean version looks better, Nigezu.

The grunged texture version doesn't look quite right.

I agree with Seth Black the grung texture needs a bit of work.
I really like the letter magnets, Brilliant detail feature.
I will eagerly await your kitchen pack.

Thanks for the C&C Seth and Zwarte!

Is it alright to release models with bond1's shaders? The fridge would look a way better with some reflections from metal surfaces.

Cool, mate! Your help would be really appreciated. I think I can make fair models but I'm not so good at texturing. I'll e-mail you later. Would you like me to send you the original .3ds model so you can UV map it yourself?

Now I gotta get some sleep. It's 2AM... Zzz

Hey guys,

I made a table to go with those chairs. A kitchen is forming up! Next I could go for a oven or a sink.

I put some some work on the grungy fridge. What do you think?
