I have a umax astra 2000p scanner, and i want to scan some pictures with a clean, anime stlye, image. What should i do?

Have you ever scanned anything before?
What software will you use for it (I use paint shop pro)?
Have you allready installed it?

1.yes.
2.will use photshop 6 or 7
3.yes already installed vistascan
