how do i get my programs to run on other computers? will i need the editor? i have the free version and tgc says its the same as the paid version just has ads so i assume i can still make executables as i have on my pc but they wont run on m friends computer to show him what ive done

My advice would be to make sure that you have included all the media with your project; make sure you reference the media in your program using paths from the project folder (i.e. "files/bitmap.bmp") rather than full paths (i.e. "c:\users\dave\desktop\project\files\bitmap.bmp"); make sure your friends have DirectX 9.0c installed (include the installer with your project to make life easier for them); and finally some plugins (Like IanM's Matrix1) require additional .dll fils to be included in the project folder.

sorry for the double post, i didnt mean to do it. it says i need d3dx9_35.dll could not be found

also could you link a download site for directX 9.0c on my friends he needs october 2006 or later

That error means the right version of directx 9.0c is not installed.
