hi!

Its been a while since I uploaded something for the community.
So, a lot of people where asking me how I made the Lightrays in the latest Disasterpiece Screenshots. I've been using them this morning, playing around on a Map for Relict and I thought some people might want them.

Well, I guess most people use decals which I wouldn't recommend.
This Pack contains a few Lightoverlays. They aren't that easy to use, since I actually made them only for myself

Instructions

Turn them with the 1,2,3,4,5,6 keys. Careful, they are only textured on one side. Leave them static until they are placed correctly, then set them dynamic. Why? Because they are WAY harder to see in dynamic mode. Now, apply the script provided or the non collision script from the Metro Theater Pack to them.
Make sure to check that they are immobile.

Have fun.

3 Simple Lightray Overlays
Each one has 2 sizes.
Only yellow color.

@Anayar: After that post, I was checking your Boardhistory to see what your games actually look like =P and...you don't have a VIP Thread? You're Models and Media releases where really awesome, thats why I'm curious: Do you work on a game ATM?

Well... I bought FPSC to make games you know, then got sucked into moddeling and other aspects. The reason I've never started a thread is because I suck at level design. I just don't understand placement of models and how to make a game flow\ feel good. My jaw just drops when I see the kind of stuff Gus like you put out... Simply amazing- it doesn't even look like FPSC. I've been working on a project, but I'm such a perfectionist that I'm never happy with what I make, and just don't have the courage to show my sucky levels. It takes a real skilled person to make levels that have huge amounts of eye candy, and have great gameplay (Euthanasia for example)... And I just don't have that skill ATM, so I probably won't make a W.I.P thread for a while.

Cheers,
Anayar

Oh I see Thanks for the nice comments about euthanasia...

and you rock at modeling so leveldesign should come easy as soon as you're over the first frustration

@all: Thanks for the nice comments and the support More media packs on their way!

Its easy just play around with it I know how it feels I was once like that Im getting better! The key to success is just play around with FPSC and get to know it a little more
