Anyone know the export to .X settings to use in CFX?

Try just using the default settings Van ..... no need to change anything.

Using the default settings when the DX8 format is chosen (as I told you before) allowed me to rotate any limb on the model, deforming the mesh while also playing the models internal bone animation (although the pre-made bone anims were extremely slow - this could be an error with the way it was exported.)

Ahh, for some reason my animation frames are multiplied by 150 - which means frame 2 is really frame 150 - which is good because I can use integers in the animation system .

I have 30 dudes running around at a reasonable frame rate - that's with a 8192 poly terrain, 4000 poly foliage, and 888 poly characters. So your talking 50,000+ polys - once I optimise there'll be plenty resources left .

Thanks for all your input guys, I will look into that manual animation thingy, it might be possible to do a ragdoll death instead of having to animate, which would really rock!.
