Hi All I am looking to buy Photoshop I see a lot of people here use it. I came across a good deal on photoshop elements 9 Is that one that would have everything that I would need for making normal maps and working on textures.

use Gimp. its free and it can do alot of stuff that Photoshop does.
download it and test it.
