"set object alpha"

Make sure you use "set object transparency" too!

@Baxslash:
Do you mean set alpha mapping on?

This command will control the alpha transparency of a 3D object.

If your are trying to make a 2D Box alpha transparent, then it'd probably be easiest to use a sprite, and the set sprite alpha command.

@Baxslash:
I do it all the time as well, Set Object Alpha is a more logical name if you ask me.

box x1, y1, x2, y2, c1, c2, c3, c4

To apply alpha to a box's color, it must be assigned that way because INK won't work with alpha channel.

Well, thanks Phaelax.

I cant use sprite, because that box is like "selecting units in strategy games". So it have to be transformable easy. You know, i hold left mouse button to start selecting units with a box . Thanks for advice

Cheers!

if you wanted to use sprites you could paste the sprite to the "start" x,y (when you click) and while you are dragging use:

@kamac, the cloggy's plugin allows you to set the colour, including alpha level to lines and boxes.

...or you could use this:

It works on DBP boxes and lines. Cloggy's dll is fantastically useful though. I use it all the time (using it right now actually!)...
