As the title suggests, i want to make a 2D panel on the side of my program in a 3D Enviroment, i have tried to search.

It's Not My Money but i need it NOW!!!!!!!!

You can set your camera viewport to only take up a part of the screen, and use the rest of the screen for 2D stuff like text, etc.

Attached is a snippet from a program in the works. It just puts a tranparent panel on the left side of the screen. 3D will show through panel.

Have netbook will travel.

that works! so this panel will allow me to have 2d text, sprites, etc shown on top of it and not the 3D Area?

Yes, it should help. Attached is a snippet using camera viewports.

Edit: It would depend on where you place your text and sprites.

Have netbook will travel.
