Hi guys,

If you're new to DarkBASIC Professional, and struggling to make your first working game. I've just loaded a new youtube video based on the Pong Concept. This tutorial is 1 Hour 50 minutes long, (all one video, not multiple parts). It is fully 3D, and media-less. This tutorial covers.

Subroutines
Functions
If statements
Case Statements
Data Types
Collision Detection
Collision Reaction
CSG (Constructive Solid Geometry)
Primitives
User Control
Artificial Intelligence
Win/ Lose Conditions

So all in all, it's a complete game, ready to go. I take you through all stages of the code.

Is anyone else following this tutorial?

I'm brand new to Dark Basic and thought I'd give it a go. I'm about 28 and a half mins into the tutorial where we are just starting to compile to see what we've done, but I get nothing but a blank screen

Anyone possibly point me in the direction of what I'm doing wrong? I've checked and re-checked that my code matches but nothing

It's amazing what a bit of sleep does. I had another look this morning, and it occurred to me that maybe I shouldn't have commented out the "Sync" command.

Fixed that in the TT3D module (wasn't watching the video closely enough) and it's all going fine now
