Topic renovation

After hours and hours of hard work I'vr finished nearly the best model pack about Russia/USSR - Total Russia Pack. It gives you everything to build your own city and give it personal atmosphere (customizable textures of AFISHA models allow you to add your own posters), nice industrial content like a building and a large pipe with a ladder, different types of fences and exterior like streetlamps, a model of WWII memorial, and, certainly, 3 large buildings. I guarantee that there will be no lags because of careful tests, so models are low-poly (about 60000 per the whole scene containing everything). Postal boxes and electric facilities will add realism to your streets. There is a video-demonstration and a bench of screnshots:

It contains 26 entities at all, and I add some more now, more and more.

Wow thes are really cool, what software did you use to make them. I guess you had these made before you joined. All seem to be very high poly for fpsc. What game engine were these made for? Whats up with the traktor model included in the download, it has no texture or wheels. and is almost 7000 polies?

traktor is a simple conversion, so it may be laggy. These models are conversion - kraz and traktor, all the others are self-made low-poly and fit FPSC with no problems.
Otherwise, sorry for problems with traktor and kraz.
And, actually, some of these models were made for GameCore engine
So I need to exclude them from my packs.

I think Not 5 floor is over 2000 polies, these models are to high in poly. With out the antenna the model should be 100 polies tops.

What is an official TGC model pack 53 title? Can't find it's existence.

No, there is no model pack containing the stuff you made mate, don't worry. But what i mean is, the stuff you made deserves a model pack deal with TGC. The buildings look nice, and I'm sure it took you a long time. So why not talk to them about having your stuff put in the next model pack? just an idea..

I know I didn't make any, I just wonder if MaximSokol made them, I have made a few packs, with much lower poly count. Skynet Games I think your avatar pic truly depicts this pack.

Also Skynet Games why do you care, a personal investment in MaximSokol, I ask him a few questions not you.

I am afraid Zwarte Piet does not catch the situation. Let's measure.

Blue house model, for example; now it is in 3DS MAX. So, it's 852 polys that fits any low-poly standards. 5floor model contains more because of a set of letters on it's side with a sun, so you must pay for realistic view. Traktor model was converted from GameCore engine, the others are FPSC exclusive, and, yes, эти модели являются моими моделями.

This is nice, I like that it looks Russian, its something new for us, I would like to see more Russian influence in the pack, so that if one used it to make something, it really says loudly, 'this is Russia', I think if it was a bigger pack, then yes it could make an official TGC fpsc pack, but would have to be bigger, as the official packs are quite large, you should look at the London pack TGC did to see what sort of size to aim for, if you built your pack to the same size, I am sure TGC would be interested in making it one of their official packs .

Actually, I continue working on it now, adding some interior (tv sets, furniture) and more exterior. But I can't realise how to begin a talk about official pack Yes, I can make it bigger and bigger, more, I can add shaders and segments, but who to talk with? Can you tell me?

Quote: "adding some interior (tv sets, furniture)"
I would not bother with that, one table and chair is the same as any other, I cant see there being a Russian chair, they all look the same, stick to the pack saying Russia, otherwise people can just use any outdoor or interior pack, there are hundreds and hundreds of models on here, but I have never seen Russian models, make it look Russian and you will stand out, so think of things that really say Russia, like monuments, posters, street vendors stuff, a taxi with russian signs text on it, a russian taxi does not look the same as a London black cab, create signposts, street signs, billboards, perhaps an underground metro, whatever the public transport is over there, we dont know as we dont live there, you do, so you tell us or show us what Russia is, give us Russia and stuff to mix with our own stuff that may not be Russia, but once mixed in with your stuff, will give it a Russian look. A lot of what you take for granted will not be by non Russians, for example, a bin in the UK where I live or a letter box will not look like yours do, it will say Litter, Please keep Britain tidy, and the post box will be red and say Royal Mail and have a crest upon it, it will not look like your mail post box or your litter bins in Russia, make these items that are different and unique to your country.
