hi is it possible to add something like a simple entity to a game which already is published? by adding the files from the entity to de folder.

*rewrite some manifest files in manifest.txt?

Not unless you replace the entire game's level files and all the other content it involves as well.. FPSC is not designed to build moddable games.

Well, I guess you could do stand alone DLC. But based on the reply above its not like you going to build a fallout 3 game and add on more missions or what not.

it's for some new weapons, and bug fixes etc. it is alot better for the servers to handle 20MB for weapon files instead of 1.5GB (the size of my game) it could be more easy for the user too. and I can handle and track all activated dlc's more easy

Well, if you can figure out what files change between the two versions depending on what you added it'll work, but simply copying over the weapons and such won't add anything, you'll need to patch the map files and such as well to make it reflect your additions.

Yea simple. Make sure, any new entity used, will install into the entity bank folders, this includes textures ect. Also, always replace the level.rar's that include the light maps. Make sure to include the new .fpe's if need be. Make sure to replace the game.exe and that should do it. Thats how I patch my games.
