I retextured the Stock banner for a upcoming game Im planing in the near future. I herd there were laws against this type of content being release in Europe so I figured I could not release the game I plan on making in Europe but what about the States? An before I get labeled racist lol I'm not. My wifes Mix so yeah far from racist.

Well, it uses parts of the stock texture (rinkles) so I would say no.

As far as laws go, some countries in Europe have laws against Nazism and it's symbols, like Germany.

If it's a World War II game, I wouldn't call it offencive, as it is a real peice of history.

But, I don't see a point in releasing it anyway, it's a pretty basic addition, the Swastika on your retexture is quite uneven...

Well hehe the game im plaining is not WWII. More like a what if type game. Heres the story Im playing with currently:

Storyline:
In 1945 WWII ended but we never found Hitlers body. Little did we know it was taken away and stored in a secret changer to preserve his corpse for science to later reanimate him and bring him back to life. In the not to distant future, a small group of scientists discovered how to bring people back to life with no memory loss. As if they never died.

The information was kept secret and stolden. Later a small group of Nazi Fashionist obtained the information and begain to use the research information to bring hitler back to life. However, they got a brillent idea. They decided to research genticaly enhancing Hitler before they brough him back. Giving him super human powers so he may be proclaimed as a God.

Many years pass on and finaly they finalized the forumula. Hitler was introduced to the world and reborn again. He proclaimed his self as GOD and promissed to bring peace to the world. He deminstrated his abilitys to show he was a GOD by performing many mircles such as breathing fire and healing the wounded. The final draw to proclaim has supreme ruler was made when he released his cure for cancer and the cure for the common cold.

Once elected, he quickly begain working on a "One World United" goverment. Which he proclaimed was needed to end the depression that had started in the early millium of 2000's. The people agreed and proclaimed the World to be one nation under our GOD who they thought had come to earth to free us.

After uniting the world under one goverment, we begain to see fast changes and the econmy begain to thrive. However, people begain missing more and more frequently. The World Police begain to be flood with missing persons reports and asked "God" to help them find the cause for so many people missing. He brushed off the claims for a period of time until one day he announced a new flag to honor his rule. The Nazi flag was displayed and the public begain to tremble in fear. As there would be no place for the world to run this time. An no other nations to help fight for freedom. Our doom was upon us.



Thats the story Im working on for the models. Thus why I wondered about the flag. But I also wanted to share it for WWII people as well. Anyway thats my story lol Dont expect the game WIP anytime soon lol I need to finish Wizards of the Realm first.

Why is the banner behind the dado rail or whatever you call it
was the decorator to lazy to take it down.

I had a decorator that didn`t even move the furniture
just painted round it.

I am from a country that was part of the Third Reich and several grand-family members had a hard time or died due to the Nazi regime - but honestly, my vote goes for historical accuracy not for denial.

Keep in mind though, that publishing a game containing Nazi heraldry is indeed against federal law in most European countries. Even if the aim of the game is to kill as much "Nazi Soldiers" (which is historical nonsense of course), displaying the heraldry is still elegible to count as glorification.

But as long as its
- no commercial release
- provided as a download from a server outside of Europe
probably no one would really care.
