Alright, as you can see. I made a hud in paint.net and saved it as a .DDS file, now. What im trying to do is figure out what next, could some one give me a hand. This is as far as i've gotten on a project like this.

What i did was make the hud in a transparent type set up, no background and you see all those checkered squares in the background. I made the top of my hud and the lower half of my hud, then i added in the basics. You know, the health, ammo, armor. Etc.. Then i put in a circular thing to be the radar, then i made a square to be the map over view. Now i cleared out the coloring in the selected areas to make room for the important stuff. Like the radar for example, when the character moves there will be like a light blue background and as you move forward or backward, from and anime. The radar will begin to blip, and the map will have an over view of the facility your located in. Now the top of the hud will be for the compass and the objectives display.

As you move your hud from side to side the hud will either tell you if your going north, south, east, west, north east, north west, south west, or south east. Etc..

The map will also have an animated area on it, there will be a red dot on it with a slightly transparent cone representing your characters field of view. Umm, but right now. I think what i want to focus on right now is get the hud displayable in the game..

Probly attached the hud to a Radar script item or something to display when you use that item. Like a weapons hud. But Im not 100% on this, Ive not setup a radar yet. But I think you just attach radar script to a item. So if thats the case, attach your hud to the item that will be using it.

:state=0:hudreset,hudx=50,hudy=60,hudimagefine=gamecore\huds\wg\shud.dds,hudname=shud,hudhide=1,hudmake=display

this is the hud script i have made, but im looking it over for spelling errors, the hud is called shud, short for samus hud, because that was the perspective i was aiming for.

If you could tell me how to start with the hud already on your screen that would be awesome!

thanks in advance!

I just read the entire WASP mod section and Seth requested a customizable hud for radar. So leads me to belive its not aviable to be customized yet. So u might have to wait on the hud for your radar. Id ask scene commander though. He would know for sure. I use Project Blue so there slightly different.
