Would 3ds max of Autodesk work together withDark basic programming? And if it does, are there any restricitions.

You can use it to make models that can be used in a DBP game yes.

The only legal restriction is that you buy it...

There is a forum called "3D Chat" where you might get a more comprehensive answer.

Assuming you are thinking of buying it (I want your job if you can afford it) there are far cheaper and even free alternatives (IE. Blender).
