hmm. looks pretty good, I hope you don't mind some crits.

the back of the gun is probably the weakest, which is bad because its right in your face.

Whats with the little white specs? if theyre supposed to be scratches they wouldnt really be there, theyd be at generally the edges, which I see you have, but they dont look like scratches. They are way to uniform. Use a square brush with some scatter. And then do a light erase to get rid of the uniformity.

And bake some ambient occlusion in whatever 3d app you use, it would help tons.

Hope you find this helpful

It is very helpful for me. I am still a student in making model and texture.I need such information which you give me.I started to learn making texture myself a few years before because I love 3d so much. I haven't learned it in any college, but I love it.So I tried my best to look for tutorail, guilde and online lessons about 3d design. From your words, I think you are an expert in this field. If you don't mind, please keep on teaching me when you are not busy for the future.I am waiting...

haha thats very flattering man, but I'm no expert, I'm a student like yourself, and if you REALLY want me to give you some advice, like extreme, general advice. hit me up on MSN or aim. And I'm hardly ever bust hahaha so if you see me online dont hesitate to message me. Just keep looking at other artists work, taking some of their technique and blending it with your own, advance your workflow, watch some tutorials, I had a whole tutorial phase, where thats all I did. Oh and a final word.. USE REFERENCE IMAGES! especially when you're texturing. Modeling ref is important too but to really nail something, you have to look at a reference image until you basically memorize how that surface reacts to the environment.

aim: [email protected]

again, hope this helps, and good luck to you sir
