Hey guys, whats the minimum Size you can set your Display Mode to be?

the lowest resolution i know that computers can go to could be around
640 x 480;

which is really small.

also that has a aspect ratio of 4:3

i think...anything greater than 0, a 1x1 resolution might exist (haven't tried)

I tried setting it to the old GameBoy resolution of 160x144 (which is a 10:9 ratio), and it bumped it up to a 320x240.

Unless you tweak your graphics card settings to accept any resolution then you're probably better off using an image at 160x144 and paste it to the centre of the screen.

graphics card? graphic cards accept any resolution, i can create any resolution i want in direct3D, but it looks like DarkGDK is limiting it

I was thinking along the lines of putting or stretching the image to any size screen you end up with. That's if emulating is what your up to. Windows has a habit of only showing so many resolutions unless you unlock them.

...are we talking windowed or fullscreen?
i tried setting dbSetDisplayMode(10,10,32) in a windowed mode... the height might be right, but it's much wider - prolly around 100 wide... (hard to check the actual display mode since, it's got too few pixels to represent text...)
